Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 10 July 2026.
Our commitment
Blue Sky Chat is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our website usable for as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, and are the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We work toward this standard on an ongoing basis; some content may not yet fully conform, and we treat conformance as a continuing effort rather than a one-time exercise.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark, logical heading order and a "skip to content" link.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
- Keyboard operability, visible focus indicators and accessible names on interactive controls.
- Colour-contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA for text and interactive elements.
- Form fields with associated labels, required-field indicators and input purposes.
- Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) as part of our release checks, alongside manual review.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. Our live-chat widget and certain embedded third-party components are provided by external services, and while we select and configure them with accessibility in mind, we do not fully control their code. If you encounter a barrier when using the chat, you can also reach us by email or phone (below) and a member of our team will assist you directly.
Ongoing testing
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We test with automated tools and manual review as we update the site, and we welcome feedback that helps us find and fix issues we may have missed. For the strongest assurance we also intend to obtain periodic independent accessibility audits.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of it, or need information provided in a different format, please contact us and we will work with you to provide the information, service or transaction you are seeking through an alternative communication method:
- Email: support@blueskychat.com
- Or use our contact page.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
Formal approach
This statement reflects our current good-faith efforts and is reviewed periodically. It does not create any warranty or contractual obligation, and is provided in addition to (and does not limit) our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
